My book journey started with my struggle with busyness: workaholism, perfectionism, self-deprecation, and anxiety. I decided to help others by publishing a book about how I overcame busyness. All I had was the desire to share my story and my experience as an English professor. So, with this motivation, I took baby steps toward becoming an author. Throughout my book journey, there were successes, challenges, setbacks, and sacrifices. I am so glad I made the commitment to become an author because Kill the Busy, Save the Bee has helped numerous women in ways I did not even imagine!
